It’s been a while since I’ve seen Kyrstin. I made a trip to visit her last night and stayed over. In less than 24 hours, I had a lot come to mind. I feel some clarity and inspiration from our visit. I’m at a starting point in my life and I feel like now is the time in which I’ll discover the things that will help me grow as a person. I don’t know how this all came about in this particular visit, but I’ve realized some things that I otherwise wouldn’t have given much thought to. I’m at a good place in life.

I’ve always thought babies were adorable when they had food smeared all over their faces so I attempted to photograph her as her dad fed her, but she didn’t seem too interested. It wasn’t until dinner was over that she took notice of the camera.

I LOVE smoke, more specifically hookah. I’ve always been fascinated with smoke/steam. It’s just so interesting to watch how it moves. This was just a drunken attempt at photographing a friend, very spur of the moment and not too planned out.

If you didn’t know (which you wouldn’t because I never update here), I somehow managed to lose my camera charger. I ordered a new one from Amazon with a few extra batteries.
Turns out I ordered the wrong batteries…and a charger for those batteries.
So i ordered a new charger and new batteries.
They finally arrived and I’m shooting again!
My charger had been missing since December so I hadn’t gotten much photo time, but that’s changing now. I’m hoping to update here a lot more. I feel like I’m losing what little skill I had to begin with so it’s time to get to practicing!!

I was shooting myself one lonely night and I wasn’t too satisfied with my images. For some unknown reason, I decided to put the fuzzy ball from my hat into my mouth. I’m glad I made that decision.
